About Me

Inspired by Nature

My name is Fébé, and I consider myself an old soul with endless creativity who loves everything vintage. Sometimes, I feel like I was born in the wrong era, but I know that I am here for a very specific purpose.

I share my passion for nature and sustainable living with my supportive husband, Ian, and my beautiful daughter, Mishka. I consider myself lucky to have her always by my side, helping me to forage for materials and providing me with new ideas. Mishka is growing into a lovely young lady with a strong spirit.

Living on a beautiful farm just outside Stanford, Western Cape, is a dream come true for me, and I am grateful for the amazing community around me that inspire, guide, and share in my passion.

I hope that I can touch your life with some of my magic!

With Love,

Our Story

In Christmas 2020, I followed my passion for natural and local materials by foraging wildflowers to create wreaths for my home. To my surprise, my creations caught the attention of others and soon enough, I received numerous orders from my neighbours in just a few days. This unexpected turn of events turned my passion into a full-time occupation, reminding me that when we follow our hearts and pursue what we love, great things can happen.

Through my love for nature and locally sourced products, I discovered my passion for creating sustainable and unique handmade items. Starting small with dried flowers and grasses, I expanded my product range to include bath bombs, beeswax candles, solar lights, pressed flower frames, bouquets, and corsages.

I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to turn a dull wedding venue into a magical wonderland. It was a challenging task, but I knew I had the creativity and expertise to pull it off. And when I finally saw the transformation come to life, it was nothing short of spectacular! And that’s how the wedding side of my business started.

Meeting like-minded people at local markets further fueled my passion. However, to truly cultivate my vision, I knew I had to take the next step and grow my own flowers. I wake up every day with a renewed sense of purpose, taking care of my seedlings and nurturing the hope that they will soon blossom into a sustainable source of materials. My chickens, too, are an extension of my family, each with their own personality and needs.

Through it all, I've learned the joy of homesteading and being connected to nature. Now, I'm excited to share my knowledge and passion with my community through monthly workshops where we can create something personal, unique, and forever using locally sourced materials and step-by-step guidance.
